Wedding Industry Awards 2014 - Regional Finalist

We are delighted to have been short-listed as a regional finalist in the best wedding venue category in the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards 2014. Finalists are determined by the scores awarded by brides and grooms who used venues in the South West over the past 12 months. The Glastonbury Festival is upon us and the sun is shining! The hotel is full with festival goers, so we are open for lunch as usual, but closed for dinner.

Don't let the Met Office get you down!

So, according to the Met Office, Britain could be doomed to 10 years of wet summers. Well, the sun is shining today, so if you are near Wells come and enjoy an al fresco lunch at the hotel. 2 courses for £12 or 3 courses for £14.50 plus a selected drink. We're open from 12 - 2pm.

A crimson dazzler!

Many thanks to Fiona Duncan (Travel Expert) of the Sunday Telegraph for her complimentary write up last weekend. Fiona commented, ‘Memorable views can be had from many hotels in Britain, but few can match that of Wells Cathedral from this three-star former coaching inn.’ Room 27 was referred to as a ‘crimson dazzler’!
